Storage

SILVERFIELD HAYLAGE can be stored outside preferably in a cool shaded area. If you have a shed available for storage this would be the ideal.

It is very important to protect the bags from damage from birds, rodents and animals as even a tiny hole can cause the product to spoil.

NOTE: The haylage is packed tightly under pressure but has been sliced across into 5 sections( approx 4 kg /section) that can be removed from the top of the bag by sliding your hand down the inside approx 20 cm and pulling the section up.The inner liner can than be folded over the remaining haylage until required.

Alternatively if you wish to feed out the entire bag cut along the top and side. Once opened we advise to use the contents within 3-7 days depending on your storage area and climate.
